Hot Lunch Program

We are happy to be partnering with District 11 Food and Nutrition Services to provide a full-service lunch program for our students. We understand there are many questions regarding the passage of the Healthy School Meals for All program (Proposition FF) in Colorado.
  • Starting the 2023-2024 school year and as long as District 11 Food and Nutrition Services is providing the meals, all students attending Thomas MacLaren School will have access to free lunch.
  • While lunches will be offered to all students for free, all families will need to fill out the Free or Reduced Lunch application. Apply here. Failure to do so removes much needed funding from the state to the school. Additionally, this allows the school to waive mandatory student fees and reduce voluntary student fees for families who qualify.
  • If your child has funds sitting on their D11 MySchoolBucks account that you would like to have refunded, please complete the Refund Request form. MySchoolBucks refunds from D11 are processed via check. Please email Susan.Urbany with any questions.

For additional questions about the Healthy School Meals for All program, email Laurie Hylle, Meal Benefit Coordinator, or call at 719-520-2934. You may also visit the D11 Food and Nutrition Services website. For more information on the Healthy School Meals for All program view this community resource.

In light of the delay in receiving the link to apply for the Free and Reduced Lunch program, the deadline for paying student fees for the 2023-2024 school year is now September 5, 2023.
